DDC Assurance Lab is not an accredited laboratory.

About

An assurance laboratory for systems that can act.

DDC Assurance Lab exists to make technical assurance claims testable, bounded, evidence-based, and reproducible.

Purpose

AI and agentic systems increasingly make or depend on claims about authority, tool use, provenance, security, state changes, verification, and governance. DDCAL focuses on whether those claims survive independent technical challenge.

Origin

DDC Assurance Lab originated from assurance methodology and technical research and development undertaken through Altru.dev. DDCAL is being established as the dedicated identity and controlled assurance surface for this work.

Founder and responsible operator

Founder and responsible operator: Valentyn Rukhaylo. DDC Assurance Lab grew from technical R&D undertaken through Altru.dev, including development of DDC and related assurance tooling. DDC is the methodology and technology family; DDC Assurance Lab is the assurance practice and commercial laboratory identity.

Operator responsibility does not itself establish accreditation, certification authority, or independence for a particular assessment. Assessment independence is evaluated and disclosed for the defined relationship and claim.

Approach

DDCAL is intentionally being built as a laboratory-quality operation rather than a generic AI consultancy. Public claims, controlled documents, assessment authority, evidence, revisions, and corrections are treated as part of the assurance system itself.
